What did you like about the holiday / workshop?
"Just returned from a fabulous 10 days in Iceland with Quest. In addition to landscapes which simply take one's breath away, Tom and Colin were both always on hand to guide, teach and give great photography advice, and David, our driver/guide was simply a fount of local knowledge and spoke fluent Icelandic. The two 4x4 vehicles were roomy and comfortable with only 4 people in each and allowed us to stop wherever we saw a photographic opportunity. The hotels/guest houses were well chosen and 100% comfortable and the group of 5 photographers, Colin, Tom and David all gelled well, with plenty of dinner table banter and fun. And we were lucky enough to see and photograph the Aurora, an added bonus!
"Tom's Photoshop Workshop is utterly brilliant and I can't recommend it highly enough. From being a complete tech philistine/idiot and Photoshop ingenue, I've learned so much in just 6 hours with him on a 1:1 basis that I now feel confident in editing my images to a much, much higher level. Images which I thought I would probably ditch have returned to life and regeneration, together with all the memories which come with them.
Tom is incredibly patient and working on your own images means that you remember what you've learned because it is personal to you. He also gives you videos of the session with you to look back on the learning and refer to as practice, together with written notes to cover the areas and tools etc covered. He's also quite happy to tailor his input to individual time needs so can offer 6x1 hour or 3x2 hour at whatever time gap is needed for you to consolidate what you've learned.

For me, as a beginner, Tom balanced perfectly, the right level of technical information & photography tips with the chance to practice.
