Berlin, Past & Present
Sat 9th - Tue 12th Sep (1 place) & Thu 14 -  Sun 17 Sep (FULL),  with Tom Peck (4 days, 3 nights)

Berlin has always been a vibrant & fascinating city, and the development post reunification has only made it more so. We will spend 4 days making images that hark to the past - the Wall Museum, the Wall itself, Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate, the Museum Island, the art deco Tempelhof airport (Berlin's biggest park); but also pictures that focus on Berlin's amazing present: the glass dome of the Reichstag (designed by Norman Foster), the Bauhaus Archive (see pic above right), the Cube, the Tempodrom. Even our hotel, Hotel One Upper West, right in the heart of the city, is an architectural masterpiece which makes for stunning photos (see pic above left). Tom lived for a year in Berlin, knows the city well and speaks fluent German. This will be a first for Quest Photography, but certainly not the last...

Price: £550pp, Price is based on sharing a room. Single Supplement £150. Deposit £150. Price includes accommodation and travel in Berlin, but not food or drinks (and Berlin does have some nice beers...) or travel to/from Berlin. Max 6 participants.
