Minimalist Modern Architecture Photography (London)
with Tom Peck & Noel Baldewijns
4-6th October (2 nights, 3 days).

Sharp angular monochrome office block lit dramatically with strong light and a streaky sky

Modern architecture lends itself brilliantly to minimalist monochrome photography and this workshop aims to help attendees get not only the best shots in some of the most spectacular locations for modern architecture, but also to show how these images can be processed to create the most dramatic monochrome interpretations. We will explore long exposure techniques in the field to create the best possible RAW files, and then demonstrate processing techniques in Photoshop to convert the files into powerful and striking monochrome images.  We will be based at a hotel in London and will spend time photographing the business district around Canary Wharf, the Isle of Dogs, The South Bank from Tower Bridge to Tate Modern and the City.  These workshops are a great chance to improve not only your photographic techniques but also to build up your post processing skills and create images that combine high drama and a modernistic style. (no in-depth knowledge of Photoshop is required). We will cover the theory of architectural photography + how to post-process these images in zoom calls pre and post workshop so we can maximise photography time in London.

Price £595 (£375 if not staying in the hotel). Deposit £100. . Price is based on sharing a twin room. If you require a single room, a supplement of £100 is payable. Price does not include travel to/from London or food during the workshop.Max 6 participants.

If attendees wish to bring along a non-photographer partner to London, please contact Tom and we will arrange a reduced price to cover costs for that person.
