We are pleased to present our 2008 Programme of Quest workshops and Photoweeks. There are some fairly significant changes this year, in that there are fewer of the one and two day workshops, but an increase in the scope and range of the very popular landscape Photoweeks.

An exhibition of landscape photographs by Colin Westgate is being held at The Camera Club, 16 Bowden Street, Kennington, London SE11 4DS (Tel: 0207 587 1809). Many of the pictures have never previously been exhibited, and include recent monochrome digital interpretations from both scanned slides and digital capture. Opening hours are 11 a.m (10 a.m. weekends) to 10 p.m. daily. Any feedback from visitors to the exhibition would be most welcome.

Joe's two workshops in Sussex last December were an outstanding success. His friendly approach and stunning pictures inspired everybody and moreover, we had some incredible weather and light for the field trips to Cuckmere Haven and Hope Gap. The use of light is a feature of Joe's photography, and it seems that he brought some with him for the workshops! Unfortunately, Joe is not available in 2007 as he is working on a new book, but we are hoping to run at least one workshop in 2008. If you would like your name to be added to the priority list, please send an e-mail, as the workshop will undoubtedly fill very quickly.

These are are now nearly all full, but there are still vacancies for Isle of Mull (2 places), Isle of Harris (2 places) and Northumberland (3 places). However, if you are interested in any of the other locations, please enquire as your name can be added to a reserve list in the event of cancellations.

The Basics for Beginners and Lith Printing workhops have been postponed due to lack of sufficient bookings. It is hoped to run these a little later, so please enquire if you are interested, as new dates will be arranged.

As you will have noticed, the Gallery is still not up and running! Stephan, my hard working web designer, has told me I must do this as soon as possible, so I promise, it won't be too much longer! Don't forget, there is a place for your own images in the Guest section, so please make use of it!
